			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<!-- Start Shareaholic LikeButtonSetTop Automatic --><!-- End Shareaholic LikeButtonSetTop Automatic --><p>Verso la fine degli anni &#8217;80, un numero sempre maggiore di <strong><a title="Nozioni sulle perle d'acqua dolce" href="http://www.gemperles.it/perle-acqua-dolce-2.html" target="_blank">perle d’acqua dolce</a></strong>, sferiche e con grado di <strong><a title="Lucentezza delle perle di coltura" href="http://www.gemperles.it/lucentezza-perle.html" target="_blank">lucentezza</a></strong> eccellente cominciò a diffondersi tra le merci dei grossisti di <strong>Hong Kong</strong> ed in altri mercati della Cina. Ben presto fu evidente che alcuni coltivatori cinesi erano riusciti a trovare il modo di inserire nuclei sferici anche nei <strong><a title="Nozioni sui molluschi perliferi" href="http://www.gemperles.it/molluschi-perle.html" target="_blank">molluschi</a></strong> d’acqua dolce.<span id="more-281"></span></p>
<p>Fino ad allora, benché non fosse insolito incontrare perle formatesi attorno a nuclei piatti o dischetti circolari, i tentativi con nuclei sferici non avevano mai avuto successo.</p>
<p>In un’azienda perlifera situata vicino a Chenghai, nella parte orientale della Cina, si trovano 9 bacini di coltivazione che contengono ciascuno circa 30.000 esemplari di <em>Hyriopsis cumingi</em>. All’età di tre anni, quando le loro conchiglie hanno raggiunto un diametro pari a circa 12cm, dal margine dorsale a quello ventrale, gli esperti dell’innesto introducono nel tessuto del mantello di ciascuna valva i frammenti di tessuto ed un numero variabile da due a quattro nuclei sferici che posso raggiungere la dimensione massima di 6mm. Generalmente le operazioni di innesto si protraggono da aprile a giugno.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Dopo un periodo di coltivazione di circa tre anni, dal mollusco che ha depositato il nacre sulla sfera di 6mm di diametro si potrà estrarre una <a title="Nozioni sulle perle di coltura" href="http://www.gemperles.it/perle-di-coltura.html" target="_blank"><strong>perla coltivata</strong></a> di circa 8.5/9mm di diametro.  Questo significa che lo spessore del <a title="Nacre delle perle coltivate" href="http://www.gemperles.it/madreperla-perle.html" target="_blank"><strong>nacre</strong></a> può essere compreso tra 1,25 e 1,50 mm lungo tutta la superficie. Aumentando il periodo di coltivazione a 5 anni si possono ottenere perle coltivate che un diametro che arriva fino ai 12mm, contenenti un nucleo di 6mm ed aventi un spessore di nacre, lungo tutta la superficie di circa 3mm. Il raccolto delle perle avviene nel periodo compreso tra dicembre e febbraio.</p>

<p>In quest’azienda vicino a Chenghai, il 70% circa degli innesti effettuati da origine a perle coltivate. Di queste, il 90% è di <a title="Forma delle perle coltivate" href="http://www.gemperles.it/forma-perle.html" target="_blank"><strong>forma</strong></a> sferica o quasi sferica, mentre il restante 10% presenta un ottimo grado qualitativo e la lucentezza si estende  lungo tutta la gamma da scarso ad eccellente.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Alcune perle non sono commerciabili perché di qualità troppo scadente; da queste viene rimosso lo strato di nacre che, ridotto in polvere potrà essere impiegato nella produzione di cosmetici o come fertilizzante, mentre il nucleo sferico viene riutilizzato per altri innesti.</p>
<p>Quando da un mollusco vengono estratte perle di alto grado qualitativo, l’animale viene rimesso nell’acqua nella speranza che possa produrre un secondo raccolto. Come avviene con tutte le altre specie di molluschi, per ottenere un secondo raccolto non è necessario inserire nuovamente i frammenti di tessuto perché i sacchi perliferi sono già formati. Incredibilmente, al contrario di quanto avviene con i molluschi di acqua salata, in questo caso non è neppure necessario introdurre un altro nucleo sferico. Le perle coltivate della seconda generazione presentano un grado di lucentezza superiore rispetto a quello delle precedenti, ma a causa della mancanza di nucleo sferico, le forme rotonde sono meno frequenti.</p>
<p>Come nelle altre <a title="Gioielli in perle di coltura" href="http://www.gemperles.it/gioielli-perle-acqua-dolce.html" target="_blank"><strong>perle coltivate d’acqua dolce</strong></a>, la gamma cromatica delle perle ottenute con innesto di un nucleo sferico negli esemplari di H. cumingi  è molto vasta. Le tinte più comuni sono i neutri, come il bianco, i quasi neutri, come il crema e le tinte naturali come il rosa, il giallo ed il porpora.</p>

Gli esperti nel settore mettono la loro sapienza a disposizione nella creazione di collane con dimensioni o colori graduati; il numero di combinazioni a disposizione risulta essere infinito, tuttavia esistono alcunischemi che generalmente vengono rispettati. Solitamente, infatti, vede le perle di piccola di forma quasi sferica presenti a livello del fermaglio di chiusura, progressivamente vengono infilate perle di dimensioni maggiori e di colore più intenso.</p>
<p>Non è difficile immaginare che la cernita necessaria nella produzione di un prodotto con ottime graduazioni e qualità è davvero notevole, impiegando sforzi e tempo da parte degli artigiani.</p>

<p>Solitamente sono impiegate in combinazione le <strong>4</strong> seguenti operazioni:</p>

<p><strong>Selezione</strong></p>
<p>Solitamente le ditte di lavorazione del prodotto perlifero provvedono ad una seconda cernita in base alle <strong>dimensioni</strong>, alla <strong>qualità</strong> ed al loro potenziale impiego. Chi svolge questo compito deve avere esaminare accuratamente e velocemente un&#8217;enorme quantità di perle al giorno, è necessario avere una vista molto addestrata al fine di cogliere i minimi dettagli nel minor tempo possibile.</p>
<p><strong>Taglio e foratura</strong></p>
<p>La maggioranza delle <strong>perle Akoya</strong> è destinata ad essere montata in <a title="Collane perle Akoya" href="http://www.gemperles.it/collane-perle-akoya.html" target="_blank"><strong>collane</strong></a>, questo significa che sarà principalmente prativato un doppio foro (<em>o foro passante</em>). Ogni perla, prima di essere forata, viene esaminata accuratamente per individuare il miglior punto dove praticare il foro. Attraverso un apposito macchinario, le perle vengono forate contemporaneamente da ambo i lati al fine di evitare ogni lesione della gemma. Alle migliori perle Akoya viene praticato un <em>mezzo foro</em> e saranno destinate ad essere montate su perni per la creazione di <a title="Orecchini perle Akoya" href="http://www.gemperles.it/orecchini-perle-akoya.html" target="_blank"><strong>orecchini</strong></a>, <a title="Anelli perle Akoya" href="http://www.gemperles.it/anelli-perle-akoya.html" target="_blank"><strong>anelli</strong></a> e <a title="Ciondoli perle di coltura" href="http://www.gemperles.it/gioielli-ciondoli.html" target="_blank"><strong>ciondoli</strong></a>.</p>
<p><strong>Burratura e levigatura</strong></p>
<p>Le perle Akoya, prima di essere immesse sul mercato subiscono una serie di lavorazioni. Subito dopo il raccolto e prima di inviarle alle ditte di lavorazione, le aziende di coltivazione solitamente provvedono a pulire le perle mediante <em>burratura</em> con sale. Anche la <em>levigatura</em> rappresenta un altro procedimento molto impiegato: le perle sono levigate con appositi strumenti per rimuovere alcune imperfezioni superficiali (comporta la rimozione di nacre).</p>
<p><strong>Accostamento armonico e composizione dei fili</strong></p>
<p>Le ditte di lavorazione provvedono ad un&#8217;ulteriore cernita delle perle che sono state forate mediante appositi setacci. Le perle vengono suddivise in varie gamme millimetriche (<em>scarto di 1/2 millimetro</em>). Una volta scelte le perle a doppia foratura più simili tra loro, il personale le riunisce in fili da <strong>36</strong> o <strong>41cm</strong>. La mole di lavoro necessaria per la cernita e la lavorazione delle perle coltivate è incredibile. Solitamente i selezionatori devono passare in rassegna migliaia di perle per riuscire ad ottenere un filo ben armonizzato.</p>

Di solito, in zone dove la pesca è organizzata come a Sri Lanka, nel Golfo Persico eo e in Giappone, le meleagrine pescate sono sistematicamente trasportate in magazzini per essere successivamente aperte.<span id="more-173"></span><br />

Qui comincia la ricerca minuziosa di perle isolate presenti nel corpo del mollusco. In seguito si passa all&#8217;ispezione delle valve per rinvenire eventuali perle aderenti ad esse (perle Blister, Mezze-perle).</p>
<p>Un altro metodo consiste nel lasciare putrefare i molluschi, una volta dato un primo lavaggio con acqua corrente si cercano le perle nei detriti del mollusco.</p>
<p>Nel 1901, il Prof. Dubois, iniziò le sue prime ricerche delle perle nei molluschi grazie a delle radiografie. Nel 1906, M. Solomon di New York, fondò nella allora Ceylon, una vera e propria industria di coltivazione delle meleagrine perlifere con applicazione dei raggi xe pare funzioni tutt&#8217;ora con discreto successo.</p>
<p>Lo scopo rimane quello di preservare e non sacrificare inultilmente migliaia di meleagrine; queste infatti, dopo la pesca ed ancora vive, vengono disposte accuratamente in modo lineare su appositi telai per poi essere controllate tramite un passaggio sotto le pellicole radiografiche. Le perle conteneti delle perle saranno aperte mentre quelle troppo piccole o prive di perle saranno rigettate in mare.</p>
<p>Questo sistema può essere ritenuto come una forma di protezione della specie (così preziosa), che porterà altrettanto benefici in un secondo tempo ed eliminando un&#8217;ingiustificata distruzione di molluschi.</p>

<p>La foratura risulta essere la maggiore lavorazione alla quale le perle sono sottoposte; si tratta di un lavoro molto difficile e dilcato che, <span id="more-170"></span>viene eseguito unicamente da personale altamente specializzato per mezzo di trapani muniti di sottilissime punte.</p>
<p>La perla può essere forata parzialmente se destinata ad essere montata su anelli, bottoni, ecc. Si ha invece una foratura completa nel caso<!--more--> del montaggio di una collana o di un braccialetto.</p>
<p>Le perle barocche o altre perle che presentano difetti in superficie  possono essere lavorate tramite raschiatura per asportare gli trati esterni difettosi al fine di abbellire la delicatissima gemma. Tale operazione, pur essendo agevolata dal fatto che lo strato madreperlaceo si asporta facilmente, risulta essere particolarmente difficile e rischiosa perchè non si può sapere in anticipo se gli strati di madreperla interni sono in migliore stato di quelli esterni.</p>
<p>Questo mette in risalto il lavoro dei gioiellieri specializzati nelle perle che, come veri propri chirurghi compiono l&#8217;operazione con una percentuale di rischio davvero minima grazie ad una datata esperienza.</p>
